DISA was established in 1993 by a group of social workers under the leadership of its founder & Chief Executive Md. Shahid Ullah with some objectives to contribute in the development of Society and country level also.
DISA envisages a society in Bangladesh which is economically productive and equitable, socially just, environmentally productive, sound and viable.
Promote participatory, self-reliant and environmentally sustainable Development of the poor and help them to achieve their potential through social and economic empowerment.
Uplift the socio-economic condition of the rural poor especially destitute women and adolescents by building institution of rural poor women so that they can have access to credit.
Protection of Child Rights, Development and empowerment of deprived Children.
Generate savings in order to sustain the credit program.
Provide health care facilities to mother and children in the targeted areas.
Take program for adult’s functional education and child education.
Bring consciousness of the stakeholders on human rights especially women’s rights.
Bring consciousness of the villagers regarding Environmental protection.
