Rural Housing Project

Rural  Housing project started in 2003 with the help of Housing Fund, GoB through Bangladesh Bank. The project is implemented in Chandina and  Barura Upazilas  of  Comilla District. Under this Project, the poor people of the area came forward to have a small house of their own which was just a dream for them.

The house built under specific measurement with tin are sufficient for their accommodation. The house are provided with refundable soft condition loan.

Till now 139 houses have been constructed in the project area for the same number of families.

The group members of DISA are entitled to receive the said housing loan. The houses are built within the specification of the Bank authority. The rural housing project has created great enthusiasm among the homeles people of the area. DISA is contemplating to extend the housing project in near future with the co-operation of Housing Fund, GOB and Bangladesh Bank.
